Preamble: The original BBC Video Report was published by BBC Russian Service on July 23, 2014. Why did BBC delete this report by Olga Ivshina? Is it because the BBC team was unable to find any evidence that a rocket was launched in the area that the Ukrainian Security Service (“SBU”) alleges to be the place from which the Novorossiya Militia launched a “BUK” missile?

Or is it because every eyewitness interviewed by the BBC team specifically indicated the presence of Ukrainian military aircraft right beside the Malaysian Airlines Boeing MH17 at the time that it was shot down?

Or is it because of eyewitness accounts (like the one posted following the transcript of the BBC report) confirming that the Ukrainian air force regularly used civilian aircraft flying over Novorossiya as human shields to protect its military aircraft conducting strikes against civilian population from the Militia’s anti-aircraft units?

I reserve the final judgment to the readers of this blog. This entry is broken down into:

  1. introductory paragraphs to the BBC video report;
  2. English-language transcript of the BBC video report; and,
  3. a video interview with Elena, a Militia fighter, recorded in Slavyansk on or about June 18, 2014, or one month prior to the MH17 catastrophe, wherein she states that, even then, the Ukrainian military aircraft would customarily hide behind civilian aircraft to bomb civilian targets on the ground.

In the last part of this entry Elena predicts that the Ukrainian military will stage the horrible catastrophe like the MH17 crash – she makes this prediction one whole month prior to the disaster.

Introductory Paragraphs to the BBC Video Report

The “black boxes” of the crashed Malaysian Boeing have finally been transferred into the hands of the experts. However, how much can they tell us?

The recorders logged the coordinates and the heading of the aircraft at the time of the incident and may have recorded the sound of the explosion. However, they will not tell us what exactly caused the explosion.

The inhabitants of the nearby villages are certain that they saw military aircraft in the sky shortly prior to the catastrophe. According to them, it actually was the jet fighters that brought down the Boeing.

The Ukrainian government rejects this version of events. They believe that the Boeing was shot down using a missile from a “BUK” complex that came in from Russia.

The Ukrainian Security Service has published photographs and a video, which, in its opinion, prove that the Boeing was shot down with a “BUK” missile.

BBC reporter Olga Ivshina and producer Oksana Vozhdayeva decided to find the place from which the missile was allegedly launched.

Eyewitness #1: There were two explosions in the air. And this is how it broke apart. And [the fragments] blew apart like this, to the sides. And when …

Eyewitness #2: … And there was another aircraft, a military one, beside it. Everybody saw it.

Eyewitness #1: Yes, yes. It was flying under it, because it could be seen. It was proceeding underneath, below the civilian one.

Eyewitness #3: There were sounds of an explosion. But they were in the sky. They came from the sky. Then this plane made a sharp turn-around like this. It changed its trajectory and headed in that direction [indicating the direction with her hands].

Olga Ivshina, BBC: The Ukrainian government rejects this version of events. They believe that the Boeing was shot down using a missile from a “BUK” complex that came in from the direction of Russia.

Vitaliy Naida, Department of Counterintelligence of SBU [Ukrainian Security Service]: This was a BUK M1 system from which the aircraft was shot down. It came to Ukraine early in the morning on the 17th of July. It was delivered by a tow truck to the city of Donetsk. After that, it was redeployed from Donetsk, as part of a column of military equipment, to the area of the city of Torez, to the area of Snezhnoye, to the area of Pervomaisk.

Olga Ivshina, BBC: The Ukrainian Security Service has published photographs and a video, which, in its opinion, prove that the Boeing was shot down with a “BUK” missile. We attempted to verify these photographs and information at the location.

One of the photographs showed a landscape not far from the city of Torez, on which smoke could be seen coming from the presumed location of the missile’s launch. We attempted to find this location, and it appears that we were successful.

We are now on the outskirts of the city of Torez. Behind me, approximately five kilometres away, is the city of Snezhnoye. And the landscape here matches the landscape that we can see on the photograph published by the Ukrainian Security Service.

To find the place from which the smoke was allegedly coming from, we adopted as markers these three poplars and the group of trees. Presumably, this is the place that can be seen on the photograph published by the SBU. And here are our markers: the three solitary poplars and the small group of trees in the distance.

The smoke that can be seen on the photograph came from somewhere over there [pointing behind her], behind my back. The SBU believes that this is a trace coming from the launch of a “BUK” missile.

However, it must be noted that there are here, approximately in the same place, the Saur-Mogila memorial, near which the fighting continues almost unabated, and a coalmine. It turns out that the smoke with the same degree of probability could have been coming from any of these locations.

Having circled around the nearby fields, we were unable to find any traces of a missile launch. Nor did the local inhabitants that we encountered see any “BUK” either.

At the ruins of an apartment building in the city of Snezhnoye, the topic of the jet fighters that may have been escorting civilian aircraft comes up again. A bomb dropped from above took away the lives of eleven civilians here.

Sergey Godovanets, Commander of the Militia of the city of Snezhnoye: They use these civilian aircraft to hide behind them. It is only now that they stopped flying over us – but, usually, civilian aircraft would always fly above us. And they hide [behind them]. [The experience in] Slavyansk had demonstrated that they would fly out from behind a civilian aircraft, bomb away, and then hide, once again, behind the civilian aircraft and fly away.

Olga Ivshina, BBC: The commander of the local militia emphasizes that they have no weaponry capable of shooting down a jet fighter [flying] at a significant height. However, he says that if such weaponry were to appear, they would have tried to.

Sergey Godovanets: If we know that it is not a civilian aircraft, but a military one, then – yes.

Olga Ivshina, BBC: So, could the Boeing have been shot down by the militias that had mistaken it for a military aircraft? There is as yet no unequivocal confirmation of either this or any other version [of what took place]. The international experts are just beginning their work with the information obtained from the crashed airliner. It now appears that it is difficult to overstate the importance of this investigation.   2. I don’t know how many BUK were captured, but if there was only one I am surprised to see that the warhead was red in the picture displayed on tweeter while the warhead was white on the video? Is there a different meaning in the color codes (i.e. infra red vs radar?).

  3. Malaysia should not give the flight recorders to the UK or any other NATO country to prevent any manipulations by the CIA. They will try that again like after the Lockerbie crash. No doubt about it.

    1. The credibility of a key forensic expert in the trial, Mr. Allen Feraday (UK), has been shattered. It was revealed that “in three separate cases men against whom Mr. Feraday gave evidence have now had their convictions overturned” (BBC, 19 August 2005). Mr. Feraday had told the Lockerbie court that a circuit board fragment found after the disaster was part of the detonator used in the bomb on board Pan Am flight 103. In the first case where Mr. Feraday’s credibility had been questioned the Lord Chief Justice had stated that Mr. Feraday should not be allowed to present himself an expert in electronics.

    2. A retired Scottish police officer has signed a statement confirming that the evidence that found Al-Megrahi guilty was fabricated. The police chief, whose identity has not yet been revealed, testified “that the CIA planted the tiny fragment of circuit board crucial in convicting a Libyan” for the bombing of the Pan Am jet (Scotland on Sunday, 28 August 2005). The fragment was supposedly part of the timing device that triggered the bomb. The circumstances of its discovery – in a wooded area many miles from Lockerbie months after the atrocity – have been mysterious from the very beginning.”

    “Gauci was paid $2m (£1.2m) after Megrahi’s conviction, and his brother Paul $1m.

    The crucial mistake, the SCCRC said, was believing prosecution claims that Megrahi had bought clothes at Gauci’s shop on 7 December 1988, allegedly later found in the suitcase used for the bomb.”

    Another example is the false flag terror attack against Hariri and subsequent accusations (as well as fabricated evidence and false witness statements) against Syria and its allies to force Syrian troops out of Lebanon as preparation for another bombing campaign by Israel.

    And self-inflicted atrocities in Yugoslavia to justify sanctions and NATO bombing:
    “The 1992 “Breadline Massacre”: “United Nations officials and senior
    Western military officers believe some of the worst killings in
    Sarajevo, including the massacre of at least 16 people in a bread
    queue, were carried out by the city’s mainly Muslim defenders — not
    Serb besiegers — as a propaganda ploy to win world sympathy and
    military intervention. . . . Classified reports to the UN force
    commander, General Satish Nambiar, concluded . . . that Bosnian
    forces loyal to President Alija Izetbegovic may have detonated a
    bomb. ‘We believe it was a command-detonated explosion, probably in a
    can,’ a UN official said then. ‘The large impact which is there now
    is not necessarily similar or anywhere near as large as we came to
    expect with a mortar round landing on a paved surface.” [“Muslims
    ‘slaughter their own people’,” (London) The Independent, 8/22/92]

    At least some high-ranking French and perhaps other Western officials
    believed the Muslims responsible; after having received that account
    from government ministers and two generals, French magazine editor
    Jean Daniel put the question directly to Prime Minister Edouard
    Balladur: “‘They [i.e., the Muslims] have committed this carnage on
    their own people?’ I exclaimed in consternation. ‘Yes,’ confirmed the
    Prime Minister without hesitation, ‘but at least they have forced
    NATO to intervene.'” [“No more lies about Bosnia,” Le Nouvel
    Observateur, 8/31/95, translated in Chronicles: A Magazine of
    American Culture, January 1997]”

  4. Russia needs to impose a no fly zone over Donetsk and Luhansk without delay! Right now a bill is being introduced in US Congress to get US military and NATO involved in these areas and if they succeed in passing this bill it will too late for Russia to prevent the wholesale genocide of these people in retaliation for the referendum. These people will be slaughtered. I believe the bill is being pushed on the basis of false allegations against Russia and one of the main objectives will be to retake Crimea. I don’t see that Russia has any choice but to take action because the US led NATO is intent on aggression toward Russia regardless if Russia acts or not.

  5. Wild conjecture on my part, but should be considered: Two SU-25 jets seen alongside MH17 on 7/17/14….. and two SU-25 jets shot down a couple of days ago. The separatists were supposed to have done the shoot-downs of the fighters, but could it have really been Kiev trying to get rid of a couple of pilots who know a bit too much?

  6. So the Ukrainian puppet govt already knew that the “rebels” had a BUK missile system in the vicinity of where the plane was hit and went down? Then why did they divert the plane from its normal flight path to a path that went directly over it? This is crazy! You would think they would have, should have directed it onto a path where it would have been safe, like where there were no known “rebel-held” BUK missile systems. But noooo! They sent the damned plane and its hapless passengers right over an area KNOWN to have one, and then they have the gall to proffer their foreknowledge of the missile system’s presence as proof that it did, indeed, shoot the plane down! I think they have just hanged themselves by their own petard. No wonder the BBC decided to delete this report.

  7. If the (western) ukrainians knew about the BUK(s) as being under the control of the opposition, why didn’t they try and re-capture it or destroy it? Personally, I think the (western) ukrainians are lying scum; they shot down a Siberia Airlines jet in 2001 and denied it.

  12. By a leader of a dutch political party who has been and is being kept outside the dutch parliament:
    A number of dutch officials have in fact instigated a kind of obvious human shield act in an armed conflict. It has become a mortal act for almost three hundred passengers of a civil airliner. This human shield act is a “dirty” act in an armed conflict ans has caused hundreds of mortal civillian victims. Now for two years the dutch and allied officials have in fact persistently refused to investigate the aspect of the crash in fact being a result of an operation which in fact has been a human shield and also can have been on purpose been instigated as a human shield. This is the primary aspect which has to be investigated, prosecuted and decided about by independant judges. The dutch and allied (justice) officials are also not independant in this matter.
    Several examples can be named where disasters clearly on purpose have been allowed to happen and have been abused as a pretex by the USA/NATO for massive bombing, occupation and eventual mutilation of a country: Pearl Harbor, Irak-Kuwait, Srebrenica and 911. The MH17 disaster is however one where the dutch officials are covered by the jurisdiction of the ICC.
    At the time of MH17 the allegations have been all over in the news that the Russians were involved, also with heavy war equipment and that the defenders in Donetzk and Luhansk did fight with heavy equipment. It has also been in the news that the defenders managed to get hold on heavy equipment from the Ukrainian army. Everyone with more brains than slime mold, could understand that this conflict was more dangerous than a conflict between bunches of Kalashnikov-boys and had to be avoided by civil airliners. Everyone with more brains than a microbe, could understand that the defenders could also get hold on a SAM-unit and could accidently shoot an airliner. Everyone with more brains than a wurm, could also understand that in the Ukraine chaos someone else could instigate the shooting of an airliner for blaiming the defenders.
    Before MH17 a warning by a couragious Ukranian young woman (Elena) has been published on the internet.* She has mentioned that Ukranian military attack planes did fly near civil airliners, attacked the defenders on the ground and then flew away near the civil airliner. She has warned that a civil airliner could get shot. Sending the MH17 just above the hot zone of the conflict has in fact been a human shield act as would for example be sending a bus with school children instead of soldiers in thick fog on a road between fighting ground forces. This is the main crime about MH17. Who did accidently or on purpose shoot the MH17 is only of trivial importance. That the human shield act has been instigated on purpose or not is only of secondary importance. Criminal negligence also must be prosecuted and convicted, by the ICC-CPI. In a number of court cases the judges have not accepted the defence of “I did not know / Ich habe es nicht gewust”. The facilities and cyanide gas generators (Zyklon B) in the concentration camps have officially been built and produced for the eradication of lice pests and so prevent mortal tyfoid and cholera pests and have also been used for this purpose. Convicted at the Nurenberg trial have claimed that they did not expect and know about the criminal abuse of Zyklon B for murdering people. The judges did not accept these claims of not-guilty by the “I did not know” and neither did accept the claims of the prosecuted and convicted in the prosecution and court procedures on the conflicts in the former Yougoslavia. (The former president Slobadan M. has died in severe long prosecution custody before being finally convicted.)
    The passengers of MH17 have not been informed that they would fly above the conflict zone. They have not been informed by the operator of MH17 and neither by the KLM which has sold most of the tickets. Probably the passengers would have demanded another safe flight path and KLM pilots and KLM cabin crew would have demanded also. The crew of other operators including the operator of MH17 however always fear immidiate lay-off into grave poverty including starvation and do not dare any objection. Most operators already did avoid the conflict zone and most people where very supprised when it became public by the MH17 disaster that civil airliners did fly above the hot zone of that conflict. The dutch officials of the operator should have avoided the flight path above the hot zone of the conflict. The dutch officials of the KLM with the reputation of being a safe airline operator should have prevented it. The dutch officials of the dutch authorities should have prevented it also. The dutch (adjunct) ministers who were responcible on air traffic matters, military matters, international matters and those on the (international) gathering of information are also responcible. It probably can not be proofed that the human shield act has been on purpose with the purpose of creating a disaster with the achieved political objectives eg that it has been a “Gladio B” operation. But in effect it has been such and also criminal negligence must be prosecuted and convicted. The official also have to be blamed extra for the fact that they have instigated an airliner with Russian alike colors on a path above the hot zone of the conflict with anti-russian ukrainian military with many SAM-missiles. Also it is maniacal to blame the ukrainian authorities for allowing the flight path. They should not have been assumed to be aware about foreign airliners with russian alike colors. They should have not have been assumed in control of all those not officially allowed armed operatives. This fact has been public knowledge. It is maniacal to assume that a regime in revolt and armed uncontrolled conflict (in the air also) will be correct about safe flight pathes above the conflict zone.
    The dutch officials on the investigation and reporting on air crashes are not independant and neither reliable and have a history of blaiming others to be guilty. Recalled can be the crash on Tenerife. The traffic controllers and the radio system have been blaimed by the dutch. However, it is 99% sure that the KLM pilot has abused the opportunity for suicide. Rule one to thousand for pilots is: Do not use the runway if any doubt about the runway being free and going to be free and safe during use. There have been several facts which caused doubts and have been ignored: The known manouvre of the Pan Am 747, the noice on the radio, the bad sight conditions and the question by the engine operator. Nothing has been published about any serious investigation into the health of the KLM pilot. At those days AIDS was mortal “Gay cancer”. Recalled can also be the crash of the EL AL freight 747 in a suburb of Amsterdam. The investigators and also the parliamentary investigation commission have been urged to investigate the probable initial cause by sloppy over-butanisation of the kerosine. What has been done to the chief investigator of Boeing after being personally informed, can only be suspected and Boeing has omitted any public demand on the over-butanisation. The Netherlands have a history of proliferation of means of mass mutilation and murder. In particualr many dutch trade ships have shipped many millions of Afrikans into the misery of mass starvation during the transatlantic shipping and the misery of the survivors in slavery. The (royal) Nederlandsche Cocaine Fabriek has supplied both sides in WW I and so supported the process of millions of young men eradicating each other. The Netherlands was an open gate for the invasion by Hitler to Paris. About half of the agent orange deployed in Vietnam has been produced by Phillips Duphar near Amsterdam. It has been very easy for Khan to obtain uranium enrichment technology to Pakistan. Dutch traders have been allowed to do half of the worlds deliveries of chemcials to Saddams regime for chemical warfare. It has been a main cause of the misery for Iran, Irak and now Syria. The traders, ministers and parliament members all claim „I did not know”. It is being ignored that they have been seriously warned several times. No one of the responcible has been punished. Those who warned have secretly been punished and many millions of people have been and are being punished with the huge misery. By a yeast factory in Delft there has probably been instant massive prodcution of a sub-lethal microbe („flesh eating bacteria”) for massive deployment during the first massive nato bombing on Irak and the Iraki troops in Kuwait. The banking crisis and the consecutive Eurocrises and the evolving crisis for the EU has started at the dutch branch of Leman Brothers and the persuance of the implosion of the banking system in the EU started at the dutch banks Fortis-ABNAMRO and ING. The insaint dangerous dutch proliferation of biological warfare is recent. Modified flue virusses have been developed, produced, tested and published by some maniacal academic researchers in Rotterdam, on a request with usa origing. They have claimed that each of their modified virus will sure eradicate billions of people if released. Those maniacal researchers have not been locked away. Instead it has been afterwards authorised by the dutch authorities. MH17 seems to fit in this line-up.

    De hoofdoorzaak van MH17 is daarin gelegen dat nederlandse officials de MH17 precies in de hot-spot van het conflict hebben gestuurd of hebben laten sturen. In feite verwerden de passagiers van MH17 daardoor ongewild en onwetend tot een soort van menselijk schild. De eerstverantwoordelijken en -schuldigen daaraan zijn dus die nederlanders. Wie dan die raket geschoten heeft is van ondergeschikt belang. Men kan zich niet verschuilen achter “wir haben es nicht gewusst.” Een maand eerder al verscheen er een waarschuwing van de zeer dappere Elena op youtube. Die heeft ondergetekende al voor MH17 op internet gezien. Elena getuigt daarin dat Uki-vliegtuigen zich verschuilen achter passagiersvliegtuigen en van daaruit bombarderen. Zij waarschuwt voor het gevaar dat een verkeersvliegtuig getroffen gaat worden. *( De MH17 verwerd dus tot een human shield en werd dus door het noodlot getroffen ruim nadat er wereldwijd op internet overduidelijk voor gewaarschuwd was.
