  1. Who does the calculation for buying gas instead of fuel:

Instead of 1 hour flight with the MII24, how many bathtubs can be filled with very warm water, heated with gas?

Not to talk about other more needed things.

  2. Cheers! an interesting post, takes me back to hours of Soviet Target recognition from Q cards as part of BAOR/BFG, if it had had the costs info and not just a black silhouette,make/model it would of been more interesting .

  6. I am of the opinion that the age of tanks, and armor vehicles are a thing of the past. They served their time during 1938-1980. Now they are huge, fuel consumption, costly beast that are sitting ducks to 1 man with a anti tank gun. Better to buy 1 Kawasaki Mule, and load it with 3 men, 1 with a heavy machine gun, 1 with an bazooka and 1 with a rocket propelled grenade. This vehicle is small, untraced by satellite, and fast..in and out.. Tanks are modern junk.

  7. Also 1 tank cost a nation around 5 million dollars. 1 Kawasaki Mule cost 12,000 USD, can buy 500 Mules for the price of 1 tank, also a Mule gets 60 KM a gallon of gas. Tanks and armor are only good if used by someone like Israel against an enemy that doesn’t have AT capabilities. The rebels have massive AT, AA capabilities thus sending in armor is just plain stupid.
