Bogdan Boutkevitch: Ok, you ask me “How can this be happening?” Well, it happens because Donbass, in general, is not simply a region in a very depressed condition, it has got a whole number of problems, the biggest of which is that it is severely overpopulated with people nobody has any use for. Trust me I know perfectly well what I am saying.
If we take, for example, just the Donetsk oblast, there are approximately 4 million inhabitants, at least 1.5 million of which are superfluous. That’s what I mean: we don’t need to [try to] “understand” Donbass, we need to understand Ukrainian national interests.
Donbass must be exploited as a resource, which it is. I don’t claim to have a quick solution recipe, but the most important thing that must be done – no matter how cruel it may sound – is that there is a certain category of people that must be exterminated.

Its Nazi terminology. Its clear the guy would cheerfully kill the elderly, sick and disabled as well. Whether he knows it or not, his views are Nazi views. He really is a card carrying Nazi, and his beliefs are promoted by Ukrainian state TV.
I see this threat in the English speaking world too. The core tenet of Nazism is actually taught in western schools today. The religious belief that over billions of years, mysterious chance forces of nature turned rocks into man, via the zoo. That’s the religion of darwinism, the core of Nazism, and the state religion of the western world. Taken to its logical conclusion, some races must be “less evolved” than others. Some people are just holding us back, and in this case – “must die”.
Its much easier to have Ukrainians slaughter ethnic Russian Ukrainians if they simply believe they are, “less evolved”. In fact it becomes a religious duty to kill the “unnecessary and useless”.
The Ukrainian government could not make it clearer than this, they are indeed a Nazi state.

But there seems to be some hope coming from news re Germany. UK Independent and ZeroHedge are reporting a Russian-German deal in the works to end the Ukraine massacres.
The deal is that Kiev will submit & agree to not be part of Nato (tho EU connection ok), there will be semi-autonomy for the Russian-speaking East of Ukraine, Russia will keep Crimea, and there will be a gas / economic deal for Ukraine, with assurance of the gas flows to Germany and the EU.
Although Merkel will appear to play along with the US until the deal is done and finished, she also must manage her own bankers and pro-US traitors.
This is very logical. Germany of course denied it, but as Otto von Bismarck said, never believe anything in politics until officially denied.
Germany is clearly getting pushed over the edge by US attacks – the US stealing of hundreds of billions of German gold; the spying and surveillance; the whole threat to the German economy from the US-Nato Ukraine war; now the new US attack to extort some billions from the tottering Deutsche Bank.
Germans are accepting that the Western EU banking system – including German banks – will inevitably blow up, but instead of trying to just preserve the system a little longer, like US-UK-Netherlands, they may indeed be secretly preparing for a new future, where they know their prosperity is tied to Russia.

It is a slow and silent process in place since the fall of the iron curtain, accelerated by the disagreement of the Iraq war in 2003 and even faster by the recent NSA spying scandal.
This is the underlying theme for us and the US in this conflict. The US can only face China, if it secures European loyalty. Germany has emerged as the new economic and political powerhouse of Europe and thus it is of the utmost importance for the US to get Germany in line. If we break away more towards an independent – even more BRIC leaning – policy, the US has a problem. That is why German MSM journalists are drumming against Russia right now. Many of them are part of German-US networks (Atlantikbrücke, German Marshal Fund etc). By beating the drums against Russia, they hope to convince the German public (which is more critical of the US and steadily more in favour of Russia according to polls punlished by our sate TV ARD) to get back to support the US unconditionally.
But Germany’s goals must be something like this:
1. Hold the closer European countries together.
2. Reform the EU (scrap the Euro, reduce the EU to a single market to get back support from Europeans).
3. Freedom from US interference (no US Army and intelligence etc on our soil).
4. Closer relations with BRIC states as the emerging economies.
5. Longterm energy security.
6. Acknowledge Russian interests and balance them with our own interests.

What evolution says is that some people have more children than others, and that there are more of their descendants as time goes by. It has nothing to do with how “fit” those people are at any other task other than having children (well, it MIGHT be related – or it might not. Just look at the male peacock).
That’s why eugenics, and Nazism, was such a failure – it was an ideology based on a false understanding of what evolution is. And it was ever only a smokescreen anyway. The REAL reason for killing other people (or preventing them from having children) was the same as it ever was throughout all of human history: competition for limited resources.

Later, he goes on talking about people who would kill him for trying to argue with them and it is obvious that he is talking about terrorist leaders, professional warmongers and criminal madmen. After that he is talking about giving “free sausages” to the rest.

You focus on thing and leave out the context, overall tone and direction of the questionable journalist (see how I use diplo speak). You are part of the problem, not the solution. If you are indeed Ukrainian, the Ukrainian goverment must crackdown on you and likeminded.
The core problem of the Maidan movement goes to the very core. I think any Ukrainian in the East and West could agree that greedy Oligarchs had to go and change had to come. Many peaceful families were right on Maidan to demand that. But then a small vanguard – mostly from the West – with extremists views took this movement hostage. Ironically, their violence was neccessary to overthrow Janukovich. All the peaceful families would not have fought against the police. In using violence, they set the tone for the future Maidan movement and the aftermath. People tend to follow the most extreme solution, others are marginalized. This way a minor political force (in Western Ukraine they are a major force), the Right Sector and Swoboda ideology, could gain political influence in military and administrative positions (4 ministers, general prosecutor, advisers etc).
They set the further escalation in place: Turchniov, instead of cracking down on them, sent the army to the East, no further peaceful negeotiations were used. He feared a second Maidan. He then made a second mistake and gave weapons to these extremists and created National Guard battalions with them. Now they had even weapons and could easily overthrow Turchinov. Ironically, they were needed, because the army was in such a bad shape. This is were Poroshenko picked up and was in the same position: Carry on militariliy or face another Maidan by the heated public, influenced by extremists.
With all these spilled blood, I can’t see any other outcome but disintigrating Ukraine. Ukraine may win militarily, but the hearts and minds of the Eastern people are lost. Many of them will move to Russia and live there permanently. Their skills will be lost forever. Families will be broken up forever. Those who stay, may settle in and go into a silent fear mode with their lifes for decades. Others will carry on with partisan fighting. And they will be good at it. The border to Russia is not controllable for anyone. If Ukraine wins militarily I can see a Northern Ireland scenario: Heavy military presents that put a dent in the economy, an antagonized split public and a goverment incapable of actually doing anything about it. The UK realized after decades of pouring money into Northern Ireland, they needed to reach out to the Irish after hundreds of years of occupation (Battle at the Boyne). Ukraine, on the other hand, doesn’t have the economy to sustain anything comparable on the bigger scale of Donbass (Donbass is bigger than Northern Ireland) and way more blood has already been spilled. Peoaple like you will be responsible in the end for the disintegration of Ukraine.
And, lastly, to make it clear: You won’t get any money from us in Germany. 45 million (!) Ukrainians are way to much for our economy to deal with. Germans were fircely against giving money to 11 million Greeks and will be against giving even more money to the way bigger Ukraine. I am totally against any outcome that puts Ukraine close to us and my views are prevelant among Germans, forget the small part of journalists and their agitation, the population is not in your favour. You are on your own in any sense of the imagination and we will see sorrow about what you did to yourself, after dust has settled in. RANT OVER.
